Ah part two!
B and I headed to Palm Springs but had to make a very important pit stop. B had to go see the giant dinosaurs that were located in what could be considered the middle of nowhere, ha!

We headed south (and I mean so South that we had almost reach Calexico!!) to Salvation Mountain. The story behind this art is pretty incredible. It took Leonard Knight 31 years to complete this!! Just to warn you if you ever want to make a trip out 1) make sure you have a FULL tank of gas before you head out on the one way in, one way out destination 2) stock up on water and 3) DO NOT wear anything that you could pass out in (it was so dang dang HOT). 

The Road to Joshua Tree. What a wonderful place to see the wonders of my Maker!! 

After 7 days of adventuring, it was time to head home... The best part of the postgrad period is the freedom to do whatever you want (within reason tehe xD).
