MOROCCO

I wanted to bring Morocco's vibrant color palettes and intricately detailed designs into the home by creating these woven throw pillows.

TENTATIVE HEUREUSE

Les chefs-d’oeuvre ne sont jamais que des tentatives heureuses. -George Sand
“Masterpieces are never anything else but happy attempts.” My time here in Savannah is coming to an end and these woven pillows are a commemoration of a sweet time in my life spent here that I will always cherish.

4 A.M.

The best way for me to remember moments are by documentation. This weaving was completed in with a dobby loom and was a very difficult process. I celebrated the moment I took this piece off the loom by naming if after the time it had been done- 4 in the morning.
Materials used: silk, lurex & mohair yarn sewn onto indigo dyed velvet
