san francisco, ca | homebound

our first stop (of our coastal road trip) was at the deYoung in san francisco to witness the amazing work of J.W. Turner. let me tell you, that was something! i had studied the artist and his work in my art history course at SCAD. his work is so mystical and almost dreamy even though his subjects are often time the complete opposite. after we spent most of the day at the deYoung, we headed to chinatown (because that’s the closest we will get to china in a while). we visited the markets, regular food stops, goodwills (of course). visiting san francisco is always a fun day trip.
